Testimonials
I just wanted to reach out to thank you for your help with getting my outpatient custom intensive setup and provide some feedback.
First of all, your intuition was absolutely spot on about Megan being the best fit for me. I can’t imagine going through this with anyone else or trusting/feeling as comfortable as I did with her. The fact that I can explain that experience (EMDR/CRM) – eyes closed weeping inside of a schema – as “comfortable” speaks for itself!
Megan immediately understood exactly what I was going through, why it was exhausting and could explain complex concepts to me in a way that resonated so deeply, it actually made me excited and hopeful about my future for the first time in years.
The fact that she truly delivered wasn’t necessary a surprise because our conversations left me doubtless, but it was still mind blowing to experience the difference. The end result of triggers not triggering was beyond anything I could have ever imagined or dreamed of. She released me of stuck narratives and deep tensions, years of other types of therapies could not. She helped me release and repurpose protective mechanisms that no longer served me.
She gave me back my life. My joy.
Each session interconnected to empower and further process the last. Jasmine, Colin, Shelia, Tiffany and Coby were incredible. They were all in touch with Megan and up to speed on my journey, making the process seamless. I never felt like I was starting over fresh or repeating myself. They were in tune with me from the moment I stepped in the room, they were welcoming, and each provided unique, curated and beautiful experiences throughout.
I am deeply honored, grateful, and touched to have had the privilege to be a part of the pure magic, and communal healing your team offers through your leadership.
I cannot recommend or thank you enough. I also plan to continue some integration work with Megan and whatever else feels right in the future.
I also plan to post this as a review in case it helps anyone else make the decision to start their own journey with your collective. I wish everyone who is suffering could have access to this, it is truly a gift I will never forget.
Again, thank you! 🙏

FAQ’s
General
What are your rates per session?
My fee for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $150. Longer session times are available for 90-minutes and 120-minutes priced at $270 and $300 respectively. These longer sessions are not necessary but may be recommended to accommodate deeper experiential activities and healing as we progress in our work.
Payment is taken upon scheduling your first appointment to reserve and confirm your session. Your payment method will be saved and processed day-of prior to each respective scheduled session.
How long are sessions and how often do we meet?
Typical sessions are 50-minutes long, but 90-minute or 120-minute sessions may be needed as we progress in our work. I typically recommend beginning with weekly therapy sessions to develop trust and rapport between us and begin making progress on your primary treatment goals. After the first 8-12 weeks, some clients will prefer to pivot to bi-weekly therapy to accommodate their scheduling and budget needs.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill (receipt) to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. You may also use HSA/FSA funds to pay for therapy sessions. To check if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking:
-
Do I have out of network mental health benefits? If so, what percentage of each session is reimbursed?
-
Are telehealth sessions eligible for reimbursement?
-
What is my deductible for out of network coverage and has it been met?
-
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. No-Shows and cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to the full session fee. You can cancel or reschedule by text, email, or through the online client portal.
What does a first session look like?
Our first session will feel low-stakes and casual. I’ll ask you some basic questions about your background and current struggles, and we’ll identify your primary goals for therapy. You’ll have an opportunity to ask me any questions about my treatment approach to ensure this is the right fit for you. There is no pressure to share any personal details you’re not ready to.
How long does this kind of work take? What is the timeline of treatment like?
Trauma-informed and nervous system-based therapy is complex and often non-linear. While we will engage in collaborative treatment planning and identify specific goals together, it is not uncommon to encounter barriers to treatment that require frequent pivots and deviations from the original plan. This does not indicate that this method of therapy is ineffective for you; These barriers are to be expected and are a fundamental part of the type of work needed to break free from deeply-rooted psychological conditioning and behavioral patterning. Some people may choose to work with me for a season, and others may require long-term therapy to reach their self-development goals.
Do you offer in-person and virtual sessions? Can I switch from one to the other or do a mix of both?
I offer in-person therapy at my office in Austin, TX at “INSERT ADDRESS HERE.” For persons in the state of Texas, I offer virtual therapy which allows us to meet in the comfort of your own home from a HIPPA-compliant platform.
For folks with busy or unpredictable schedules, I offer flexible scheduling and can accommodate a mix of in-person and virtual appointments to fit your needs and preferences.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes! Online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. Many of my clients prefer to meet virtually for increased convenience and to accommodate a busy work schedule. Before an online session, you’ll receive a private link to join a HIPPA-compliant video call for your scheduled appointment time.
Keep in mind that the expectations for in-person and virtual are the same; You’ll need to find a quiet, confidential space to ensure our sessions remain private, ethical, and effective. If there are frequent disturbances in virtual sessions, I may recommend pivoting to in-person therapy to ensure your care remains productive.
